01 Mar World Book Day

Children in Years 2-6 are encouraged to bring in a bag containing three objects, items, pictures or drawings that are clues to a favourite book or character.
They will have an opportunity during the day to share the clues with the rest of their class. The other children will use the two learning skills to decipher the clues. Later in the day, the whole school will meet and nominated children from each class will share their clues with the rest of the school.
Children in Year 1 and Reception are invited to come in wearing pyjamas or a onesie (trainers or shoes rather than slippers please).
They will be having regular bedtime story sessions with staff during the day to encourage their love of a good storybook. Children in Years 2-6 should come to school in school uniform.
