8:35 – School doors open for children to begin to go to their classes.
8:45 – Registration begins. Children will normally have a morning activity to get on with set by their class teacher.
9:00-10:00 – Power Maths
10:00-10:20 – Break
10:20-11.00 – KS1 (Read Write Inc. till 11 am) KS2 spelling frame then VIPERS reading
11:00-12:00 – Write Stuff – whole school writing programme
12:00-12:55 – Lunchtime
12:55-3:00 – Afternoon sessions (KS2: Busy brain reading till 1.20 pm)
Whole school ‘Adventures’ (4-5 week units) and ‘Explores’ (1-2 week units)
(during this time KS1 and Reception take a 10-15 minute sensory break to fit in with their timetable)
3:00-3:15 – Whole class story (Singing assembly/Celebration assembly) on Wednesday and Friday
3:15 – Parents and careers pick up
Monday morning – 8.50am-9.10am whole school assembly focussing on PSHE theme and/or school values
