Thursday 3rd October is the school census day. The government use this date to set the funding for the school. The menu is:

  • Fish Finger & Chips
  • Cheese and Tomato Pizza
  • Jacket Potato with a selection of fillings
    • Served with Pasta, Baked Beans and a selection of Vegetables
  • Chocolate Cracknell Cake

It is helpful to have all the infant children and others who are entitled to a free school meal having a dinner on that day. The school also gets significant funding for children if they are entitled to a free school meal.

It is worth checking to see if you are entitled at www.gov.uk even if you don’t want to claim a free meal.
