Yesterday, all the children and adults at school voted in the St Thomas Election. It was a really successful afternoon and the four party leaders should be proud of themselves. They stood up and spoke to every class in the school before organising the voting in the hall.
This morning, a group of Year 6 children counted the votes and we are able to reveal that the winning party was the U Party led by Olivia. All the candidates congratulated each other and following this, Olivia and some other members of her party will be working alongside the school council to see if they can put some of their ideas in place at school.
When we collected all the votes it was really interesting to see how different classes voted. Each party was a winner in at least one class through the school.
