At St Thomas Primary School, we take our role in safeguarding very seriously as we believe all children have the right to feel and be safe.
Keeping children safe is our priority
- On arrival to the school please make yourselves known to the office and sign in then take a minute to read our visitor’s guide (also available below)
- Please be aware that ID will be checked if you are unknown to the school.
- Remember to sign out when you leave the school site.
- Please wear a visitor’s badge over your clothes during your visit as this is what children expect and it helps them to know you are an adult that is supposed to be in school
- Mobile phones may not be used by visitors around the school. Should you need to use your phone for any reason, please ask a member of staff who can direct you to a suitable space,
- If you have any safeguarding concerns, please report them to the Headteacher (Justin Stone), who is our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), or, if he is not available, to Ellie Ralls, or Dan Jenkins who is our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officers (DDSL).
- Alternatively, if it is at a weekend or during school holidays, you can contact the MASH team directly on 0345 155 1071
