I can’t believe this is the last newsletter of this year – where does time go? There is always so much excitement at the end of term as we look forward to the holiday and the start of a new school year! However it is always tinged with a bit of sadness as we say goodbye to those that are leaving us.
Firstly, we say a huge goodbye and good luck to our Year 6 children. They have been a fantastic group and have been real ambassadors for the school. Their recent performance in the school play and their academic achievements highlight what a determined and talented group of children they are. Good luck in your new schools and we are going to miss you all! We are also going to be saying goodbye to Miss Rowe, Tracy Headlong, Mrs Peirce and Miss Baker.
They are all moving on to new and exciting challenges and we wish them every success for the future. I would also like to thank Miss Sealy who has been covering Year 4 for this term – it is never easy taking on a class part the way through the year! I hope everyone has a fantastic summer holiday and we look forward to welcoming everyone else back in September for another exciting year!
