We look forward to a happy and
successful partnership with your family. From September, 2005,
St. Thomas Primary School has been established as part of the
re-organization of Exeter schools.
This means that our first Year 6 children will leave the school
in July, 2008. There has been a school on our site since 1872,
and we are proud to be continuing to serve the local community
of St. Thomas in Exeter.
Home and School
We promote a positive partnership between home and
school. We build on children’s skills and experiences
when they join us. We hope you continue to enjoy taking an
active and positive interest in what your child is doing
at school. We welcome your comments and observations, and
encourage
you to visit school if you need information, or if you have
any concerns. Look out for our weekly newsletters, and our
termly curriculum information news-sheets.
We ask you to sign our Home/School/Child Agreement, so that
together we can support children’s learning, and help
everyone achieve their best. Our Day
We welcome children into school from 8.35 each morning, in
time for the beginning of the school session at 8.45. Before 8.35 there is no adult supervision, and we ask parents
to ensure that children are not in school before 8.30 a.m.
- Morning session 8.45 – 12.00
- Afternoon session 1.10 – 3.15
